Silk spinning workshop. Margaret Hansford. Spinning Wheels available, You may spin other fibres if you wish. Visitors do come and try your hand at any or all of these techniques - it is surprising what you can achieve.

Talk / slides - Sue Hiley Harris "Then to Now ". Sue will give an illustrated talk about her work and it's development over the years.
Workshop by Suzen Millidot - Chinese Knots. Following her interesting talk last May (2007), students will be able to make their own examples under her guidance.
Talk – Andrew Johnson - Shackleton Scholar. Andrew will give a talk on his recent visit to the Falkland Isles where he spent Three weeks as a Shackleton Scholar teaching Spinning, Weaving and Dyeing to the residents.

29th Annual Exhibition at Oakdale Institute, Museum of Welsh Life, St Fagans, Cardiff. For one week, Members wil be exhibiting their work and demonstrating their skills. Entry to the museum is free, some of the members work will be for sale. Members will be demonstrating various skills daily.
Inkle Braids Weaving Workshop - Part 1 @ Old School, Sully. Led by members Jane Nicholls and Kathy Williams. Inkle looms will be available to buy or borrow.
Stitches and Hobbycrafts show at Cardiff International Arena, Mary Ann Street, Cardiff. The Glamorgan guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers have a stand at this popular craft show. Members will be available to discuss / demonstrate spinning, weaving and dyeing, Some work will be exhibited, come and find out more information about the guild, our workshops and talks.
